Rajiv Sodhi
Rajiv Sodhi leads a team that works to reduce the burden of infectious diseases in low- and middle-income countries and accelerate the adoption of efficient, reusable agent-based models. The team supports decisions and investments spanning integrated disease surveillance design, product evaluation, and phylogenetics.
Rajiv has more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry, with a focus on business leadership, ecosystem development, organizational leadership, and cultural transformation. He spent more than 15 years at Microsoft in roles in India and the United States. As the COO of Microsoft India, he focused on empowering customers and partners to transform their businesses into digital-first enterprises, by improving organizationwide operational efficiency and building a culture of collaboration.
Earlier, Rajiv launched and served as the CEO of GoDaddy India and led its growth to a customer base of more than 1 million in India and Australia. He started his career as a software developer and learned his skills in various U.S. and Japanese startups.
Rajiv has an Executive MBA from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Pune, India.
