Miriam Chipimo

Deputy Director, Disease Control

Dr. Miriam Chipimo leads the development and implementation of the Africa team’s regional infectious disease strategy, which focuses on scaling up delivery of high-impact, cost-effective health and nutrition solutions across the continent. She is based in the foundation’s office in Nairobi, Kenya.

Over her two-decade career, Miriam has worked to scale up reproductive health and family planning programs in a number of African countries. Her research findings have been published in peer-reviewed journals.
