Michal Fishman
Michal Fishman leads a team that manages the foundation’s media relations and responds to requests from external audiences.
Michal has spent her career in policy advocacy and reputation management for Fortune 100 companies and national and international nonprofit organizations, including the Malaria No More, the RBM Partnership to End Malaria, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, and Mastercard.
Before assuming her current role, Michal held several roles leading communications roles at the foundation’s program and advocacy work in polio eradication, malaria eradication, and pandemic preparedness and response. While working with the global malaria community, she helped mobilize global action to integrate a gender lens into the malaria fight.
Michal began her career working in the Washington, D.C., and New York offices of Edelman.
Michal earned a B.A. from Tulane University’s Newcomb College and studied for a year at Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
