June Yoshinari Davis
June Yoshinari Davis leads the foundation’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategy and oversees the DEI Center of Excellence, which supports the continued integration and impact of DEI across the organization’s programs and offices in North America, Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Passionate about educational equity and inclusive excellence, June joined the foundation in 2019 as director of strategy, planning, and management in the U.S. Program and chief of staff to the program’s president. Earlier, June led global inclusion and diversity efforts at Cargill, where she identified best practices, policies, processes, and systems to embed inclusion and diversity into an organization of 150,000+ employees across 70+ countries. Her professional background also includes serving as senior managing director for people development at Teach For America and leading strategy, digital commerce, and merchandising efforts at Nike and Target and in the for-profit K-12 and higher education sectors. She brings this experience and insight to her role as Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer and our vision for strengthening organizational effectiveness, equitable and inclusive partnerships, and ensuring enduring global impact.
June has an A.B. in psychology from Harvard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
