June Yoshinari Davis
June Yoshinari Davis leads the foundation’s people-centered strategies across talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness, which includes human resources and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
She joined the foundation in 2019 as director of strategy, planning, and management in the U.S. Program and chief of staff to the program’s president. Before assuming her current role, she served as chief diversity, equity, and inclusion officer.
With more than 20 years of experience spanning human resources, talent strategy, and organizational transformation, June has led high-impact people initiatives across the corporate, nonprofit, and philanthropic sectors. At Cargill, she served as a strategic HR business leader for several of the company’s global businesses, leading talent planning, leadership development, workforce engagement, and cultural transformation. She also spearheaded key initiatives to integrate diversity and inclusion practices, policies, and systems into a US$100 billion organization with more than 150,000 employees across 70-plus countries.
June’s professional background also includes serving as senior managing director for people development at Teach For America and holding key roles in digital transformation, organizational strategy, and business development at Nike and Target, ensuring that talent, structure, and culture supported sustained business growth. She brings all of this deep expertise to her role as chief people officer and the foundation's vision for strengthening organizational effectiveness, equitable and inclusive partnerships, and lasting global impact.
June has an A.B. in psychology from Harvard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
