Cambrie Nelson
Cambrie Nelson leads the office that oversees the Gender Equality Division’s business operations, cross-division strategy, and leadership engagement. She serves as a trusted advisor to the division’s president and executive team and supports the division’s culture and overall effectiveness. In this role, she also promotes collaboration and progress across the foundation to advance the division’s goals, including through oversight of the foundation’s Gender Integration team.
Cambrie joined the foundation in 2021 and was a key collaborator in the design and launch of the Gender Equality Division. She served as the division’s first deputy director of strategy, planning, and management, leading the division’s strategy and business operations.
Earlier, Cambrie was an executive at the management consulting firm Accenture, where she focused on building and expanding the Health, Public Sector, and International Development practices. Her consulting work focused on supporting organizational strategy, process design, and operational effectiveness for clients of different sizes in multiple sectors and geographies.
Cambrie has also worked in civic design, social enterprise incubation, and nonprofits.
She has a master’s degree from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis.
