Callie Schneider
Callie Schneider oversees day-to-day strategy and operations for the U.S. Economic Mobility and Opportunity team. She previously worked in the Foundation Strategy Office, where she led strategy development for the launch of the Gender Equality Division and supported strategy refinement for several teams including the Philanthropic Partnerships team and the Family Planning team. Callie was the inaugural recipient of the Bill Gates Sr. Award in 2021 – an annual award recognizing an employee who embodies the Gates Foundation values.
Before joining the foundation in 2018, Callie worked at Deloitte Consulting, where she focused on enterprise strategy and customer experience for health care and consumer products clients. She has been deeply involved in several organizations focused on gender-based violence, and particularly domestic violence, where she has served in various capacities including volunteer victim advocate, board member, and consultant.
Callie has a B.A. in economics and psychological and brain sciences from Washington University in St. Louis.
