Andrew Dunckelman

Deputy Director, Philanthropic Partnerships

Andrew Dunckelman oversees the foundation’s efforts to strengthen the philanthropic sector through investments in data, insights, policy, and campaigns. His team also works to promote and celebrate everyday generosity in the U.S., with a special focus on increasing giving to promote equity.

Before joining the foundation in 2023, Andrew spent several years at Google.org, the philanthropic arm of Google. There he led a number of initiatives to harness the power of technology for social impact and served on the Google.org leadership team. Previously, he worked at The Bridgespan Group, a consultancy focused on serving nonprofits and foundations.

Born and raised in south Louisiana, Andrew has a B.A. from Louisiana State University, an MPA from Indiana University, and an MBA with distinction from Harvard.
