Shubha Jayaram

Shubha Jayaram leads strategy, financial planning, and operations for the foundation’s Global Education and Nutrition teams.

Shubha joined the foundation in 2019. Her first role was in the Gender Equality Division, where she led efforts to build an evidence base on women’s collectives and group-based models to empower adolescent girls. She went on to lead and support strategic and operational priorities within the Office of the President in the Global Growth & Opportunity Division.

Before joining the foundation, Shubha worked at Results for Development on global education and at TechnoServe, where she supported entrepreneurs. She began her career in the financial sector.

Shubha has a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in economics and international relations from Tufts University.
