Jennifer Alcorn leads giving opportunities, a team that works directly with philanthropists to support their giving across a range of issues. Where donor interests align with those of the foundation, the team facilitates partnerships, co-funding, and matchmaking, with the goal of accelerating progress on urgent issues. Jennifer also leads Gates Philanthropy Partners, a public charity created by Bill and Melinda Gates that allows donors—at any level—to give alongside the foundation to support our priority issues.
Jennifer joined the foundation in 2008 and has worked across the foundation’s global policy, advocacy, and philanthropy portfolios.
She graduated summa cum laude from Ursuline College outside of Cleveland, Ohio, with a dual degree in history and historic preservation.
